11-16 Ski Lesson Information

Level 1

Our Level 1a lesson will introduce your child to the ski equipment, putting their skis on with assistance and walking around the flat area with skis on. They will start to learn to side step up the slope with assistance and learn to turn around on the slope and hold a pizza shape. They will also slide down with their skis parallel. They will also learn to put their skis on by themselves, will learn to turn around and hold themselves in a pizza shape without assistance and complete several activities with their skis parallel.

Level 2

Our Level 2 lesson will introduce your child to the beginner slope lift and will start to learn to ski down slowly in a snowplough. They will also start to make their snowplough bigger and smaller. They will start to ski from higher up the beginner slope and control their descent and start learning to steer left and right in a snowplough. They will start to link their turns together and follow a short set path.
