Now in its third incredible year, Northern Snow Show is back - bigger, bolder, and better than ever! After two fantastic years of bringing the mountains to Manchester, this unique event continues to grow as the UK’s only consumer Snowsports Show on REAL SNOW.

Born from conversations between The Snow Centre team, guests, and leading winter sports brands, Northern Snow Show was created to fill the gap for snowsports enthusiasts outside of London - and it’s done exactly that. What started as an idea has now become a must-attend event for anyone passionate about skiing, snowboarding, or just living that mountain lifestyle.

So why Manchester? Simple. The Snow Centre Manchester has everything you could want for a truly immersive snowsports experience:

About The Snow Centre

Originally named Chill Factore, the centre opened in November 2007, bringing the UK’s longest indoor real snow slope (180 metres) to the North West. In 2025, it rebranded as The Snow Centre Manchester.

Since opening our doors The Snow Centre Manchester has welcomed over 3 million visitors and is regarded as a leading UK visitor attraction! Located less than 4 miles away from Manchester City Centre, adjacent to The Trafford Centre; one of, if not the most popular shopping centres in Britain, The Snow Centre Manchester is an easily accessible, fun and popular leisure destination for absolutely everyone.

From Ski Lessons and Snowboarding Lessons for all levels, ages and abilities, to Snow Fun activities, in our indoor snow park, including the Downhill Donuts and Ice Slide, The Snow Centre Manchester has everything for a great day out. As a real destination of choice,The Snow Centre Manchester offers a wealth of bars, cafes and restaurants and some of the UK’s leading outdoor clothing and equipment shops offering big brand names, all along our authentic Alpine Street. The Snow Centre Manchester have created an inclusive environment to be enjoyed by people of all abilities, including people with disabilities. We are proud to be home to Disability Snowsport UK (DSUK) - a nationwide registered charity, providing adaptive skiing for individuals with any disability, whether that be physical, sensory or learning difficulties.
