SnowCone Social

SnowCone Social is a community-led snowboarding meetup based at Chill Factore in Manchester. Designed with women in mind but open to everyone - regardless of gender, age, or ability. Our sessions create a relaxed space to connect, ride and build community on and off the slope.

Whether you’re new to the sport, returning after a break or just looking for people to ride with, you’re in the right place.

Our socials are friendly, pressure-free and full of good stuff. Snowboarding, snow cones and a shared love of being on the mountain - even if it’s an indoor one.

What to Expect

Every SnowCone Social is a little bit different, but here’s what you can expect:

A relaxed group ride on the slope (no formal coaching)
Time to connect off the slope, meet new people, and chat over drinks or snacks
Free snow cones at (nearly) every event
Fun little extras like discounts, giveaways, photographs and informal coaching.

Some people come to ride, some come just to hang out – it is totally up to you.

We host regular sessions at Chill Factore. Check our Instagram for upcoming dates and times.

The socials are completely free to attend but if you’re joining us on the slope, you’ll need a valid pass and to meet Chill Factore’s minimum riding requirements. That means being able to control your speed, link turns and use the lift confidently.

Come along

Join us at The Northern Snow Show for a SnowCone Social session designed for anyone interested in freestyle riding, whether you’re just starting out or looking to progress your skills in the park.
