Location: Aspen
Ski Northern England brings together the Lake District Ski Club, Yad Moss, Ski Allenheads and Weardale Ski Club.
The four clubs provide real outdoor snow skiing and boarding in The Pennines and the Lake District. Think of them as The Northern Powderhouse.
The volunteer run clubs are within a couple of hours of northern England’s big cities and share tranquil, beautiful settings along with friendly family atmospheres.
When winter comes, you don’t need to go to the Alps to have a day on the slopes.
Think of the Lake District Ski Club, a.k.a. Raise, as the “Chamonix of England”. It has high and steep slopes and dramatic mountain scenery.
If you’re impressed by the length of the Eisgratbahn cable car in Austria, then listen to this… Yad Moss has the longest ski tow in England! (600 metres)
With its extensive network of runs, Weardale Ski Club is the “Three Valleys of English skiing”.
And if you love Alpbach in the Tyrol region, then Ski Allenheads is the one for you. Small, low and its tow is next to the centre of the village with the pub only a short walk away.
Come and meet representatives from each of the clubs and find out how to join them when they unite as Ski Northern England at the Northern Snow Show.
