Dave Ryding to Open Northern Snow Show with Talk and Signing Session

Big news for snowsports fans! Northern Snow is proud to announce that Olympian and English World Cup alpine ski racer, Dave Ryding, will be officially opening this year’s Northern Snow Show on Saturday 4th October.

Known as “The Rocket”, Ryding is Britain’s most successful alpine skier, with multiple World Cup podiums to his name, including his historic slalom victory in Kitzbühel in 2022. As a four-time Olympian who has flown the flag for Team GB on the world stage, he has inspired a generation of British skiers with his determination, consistency, and record-breaking career.

Visitors will have several opportunities to see him throughout the morning:

10:00 AM - Official Opening

Dave will kick off the day by officially opening the Northern Snow Show.

10:30–11:00 AM - Exclusive Fireside Talk

Straight after the opening, join Dave for an intimate fireside talk where he’ll share insights from his incredible journey on the World Cup circuit, his Olympic experiences, and what it takes to compete with the world’s best.

11:15 AM - Meet & Signing Session

To round off the morning, Dave will be available for autographs and photos in a dedicated signing session.
